AMEX Service Trading (Marine) Ltd. is since April 1995 the owner and at the same time Trading Office of the factory Puck Mechanical Works AMEX Ltd. in Puck, north from Gdańsk.The factory have tradition of more than 85 years and was the first Polish manufacturer of marine diesel engines and propulsion equipment for small sea-going and inland navigation ships. The convenient location at the sea shore obviously facilitates production for marine economy. Traditional products of the factory were: power units 16÷400 BHP, shafting lines, reversing transmission gears 16÷500 BHP, small generating sets of power 20 kVA, high pressure water pumps, hydromonitors for removing corrosion from ship's hull, parts for auxiliary diesel engines like cylinder covers, cylinder liners, pistons and valves.

Separate part of the factory is the foundry which is able to produce grey and nodular cast iron elements weight 20÷1500 kGs, cast steel elements weight 20÷1500 kGs, bronze, brass and aluminium alloys weight up to 200 kGs.

During last ten years we have developed the production of different types of steel constructions like masts (including drain masts), crane arms and winches for offshore purposes specially designed to work in arctic weather conditions and equipped with hydraulic/electric drive systems. Above products are now essential in the factory production profile.

The manufacturing process is now based on modern technology and efficient production equipment located in several halls of total surface 7800 sq mtrs. New modern CNC machines, horizontal boring machines and others have been installed. The manufacturing process is supervised by an experienced and qualified staff of specialists.

The continuous development of the Works is mirrored by the modernization of the particular products and enlargement of their assortment.

We are going to continue permanent modernization of the factory.

Puck Mechanical Works has obtained the ISO 9001 Certificate issued by Norwegian DNV and is approved as authorized NATO supplier. The products are subject of inspections of other Classification Societies including ABS, LRS, GL, BV.
